Jared Joseph Leto & I~

                Jared Joseph Leto

It comes to my mind, the day I met Jared Leto; I was walking slowly down the streets of Hollywood, listening to the new P!nk’s album in a high volume, my heavy backpack was hanging on my shoulder, when I tripped over someone’s black, shinny shoe. I got up as fast as I could, when I noticed a large, pale hand, hanging in front of my face, I was suddenly nervous, I thought I knew that hand. Can it be true? I looked slowly up to prove me wrong, in that second I forgot to breathe, then started to breath faster than the usual. There was the pale, gorgeous, perfect face of my favorite singer ever, Jared Leto, he apologized for making me tumble; hearing his voice in person, has been one of my biggest dreams. To me, his voice sounded like the most beautiful music, played by the angels with an undiscovered instrument, his mouth. He kept talking, and I felt like angels were playing a unique concert just for me. He invited me to take some coffee, I knew I was running late for school, but I couldn’t deny him something like that. Maybe, in that moment, I couldn’t deny him anything, I was sort of hypnotized. The night before, I still dreamed of him, his good-looking appearance, his voice… and now here I was, just a few hours later, drinking coffee and chatting with him like we were old friends, like we’ve met a century ago; I discovered he was a warm person, he was kind, he had never met me, but he trusted me, that, made me trust in him.
I would catalogue that day like a learning experience, I noticed not all the famous, sensual, rich artists are heartless persons. Now I think in all the selfish people that want to be around him just because they think his toothsome quantity of money is more important than the human being inside. I learned to appreciate the good people like him. I would love to be able to share much more learning experiences with him, I think I can learn pretty much interesting stuff from him. I think he’s a great person.
I Admire Jared Leto, not as a singer or actor, just as a person that reflects himself in the good things he does everyday, from donations to messages he expresses in each song he writes.
